Created at Outcrop Communications, this collection brings together my design and art direction for De Beers Canada across brand documentation, corporate publications, advertising and large-format displays. Working within the company’s established brand standards, I applied its prescribed identity and colour palette while developing layouts, imagery and typography suited to each audience and format.
Brand Standards Guide
A comprehensive brand standards guide developed for De Beers Canada, establishing clear guidelines for the consistent application of its corporate identity. Covering logo usage, typography, colour and visual presentation, the guide provides a practical reference for maintaining brand integrity across publications, presentations, advertising and corporate communications.
Environmental & Corporate Communications
Large-format informational displays developed for De Beers Canada, communicating the company’s mining operations, environmental stewardship initiatives and relationships with northern communities. Combining photography, maps, typography and complex information design, the displays translate detailed corporate information into accessible, engaging visual communications. The colour palette was prescribed by De Beers’ existing brand standards, with my creative direction focused on composition, imagery, typography and the effective presentation of information.
Impact Benefit Agreement Reports
A coordinated series of four Impact Benefit Agreement (IBA) Activity Reports developed for De Beers Canada's Indigenous partner organizations. Each report features a distinct colour treatment to identify the respective community and agreement, while maintaining a consistent visual identity across the series. Combining photography, detailed reporting, typography and structured information design, the publications balance individual recognition with a cohesive corporate presentation.
Gahcho Kué Community Newsletters
A series of community newsletters developed for De Beers Canada’s Gahcho Kué diamond project, communicating project developments, environmental initiatives and community engagement activities across the Northwest Territories. Combining editorial design, photography, detailed maps and information-rich layouts, the publications present complex technical and corporate information in an accessible, engaging format while maintaining a consistent visual identity.
